With your professional diving certification you’ve got a ticket to, and an income from, adventure and travel around some of the most beautiful spots in the world. With our PRO programs you can live for a time in a tropical paradise not only gaining more diving experience, but learning how to guide dive tours, learn more about the vast variety of marine life and assist with the development of student divers. Learn to help impart your enthusiasm and love of diving to people taking their first breaths underwater and celebrate with them at the completion of their course. The Dive Control Specialist or Dive Master course helps you to develop your knowledge of dive theory, and in water diving skills to a professional level.
By assisting on many varied certification courses you will develop your control and problem-solving skills, a valuable attribute of any Dive Professional. You’ll also learn and practice how to guide diving tours and also focus on map-making, which will help to fine tune your navigational skills.
Other aspects of the role course include working on customer relations skills, dive center logistics and development of an emergency plan specific to the local environment. There’s a lot of fun to be had living and working in the tropics. 
Both the SSI DiveCon and PADI DM, focus on all aspects of professional dive training but PADI and other Training Agencies (BSAC, NAUI, CMAS,….) have split their PRO Level Training over 2 separate courses Dive Master and afterwards Assistant Instructor.
In the SSI DiveCon program the Assistant Instructor Level is integrated , and therefore SSI DiveCons have a higher recognition in the Dive Industry.
We at Scuba Junction have always believed in customer service and quality training and I am very pleased to inform you that we offer the SSI DiveCon at the same price as the PADI DM Course.
To enroll in the Dive Master or DiveCon program you need a Rescue Diver certification (any training agency), have twenty logged dives, and proof of formal C.P.R. training from a recognized agency within the last two years.
The course fees of 25,000 Baht includes all diving equipment used during the course, your own privately allocated Suunto dive computer for the duration (PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE THE ONLY DIVE CENTER ON KOH TAO WHO HAS THIS SERVICE), and FREE refreshments at our dive center and on our boats.
Your discounted PRO package (5,000 THB) includes:
- SSI Dive Con Manual or PADI DM Manual
- PADI Wheel (not required for DiveCon)
- Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving
- Workbook
- U/W Writing Slate
- SMB (Surface Marker Buoy or Safety Sausage)

As for accommodation, Koh Tao attracts many ex-pats that stay long term so it is very easy to find long term rent bungalows or rooms. Prices vary from 4.000 to 10.000 THB per month, depending on how much luxury you want.
