Our Dive Style
Diving - Supervision
As one of the first and still one of the few dive centers on Koh Tao, we limit the amount of students or fundivers per group to MAXIMUM 4 as a general rule.
Most dive operators on Koh Tao have groups ranging from 6 to 10 per instructor.
We believe that smaller groups result in better education and training as the instructor is always closeby and doesn't have to divide his/her attention over too many people.
Diving - Equipment
- We provide full equipment which is included in the price of the dives and courses, on top of that ALL our divers get FREE use of Suunto dive computers. Again adding extra safety to your Koh Tao diving experience.
- Scuba Junction has a reputation on the island for high quality equipment and only uses name brands which include: Scubapro, Seacsub, Suunto, Mares.
- As the only dive shop we offer prescription masks for near sighted divers which can be tailor made to the individual needs.
- We are also equipped for the smallest divers and have a range of JUNIOR BCDs, small tanks, fins... so the whole family can enjoy diving including the children.
Diving - Boats
- Scuba Junction has it's own fully customized diving boat with a large sun roof to relax in between dives.
- The 14 meter Manta ray has been specifically designed for divers and carries DAN Oxygen, First Aid kits and Radio communications. It also has toilets, refreshments, a dry area and a sundeck.
Diving - Snorkeling
- Apart from being a diver's paradise Koh Tao is also a snorkeller's paradise in which the beaches are always quiet because most visitors are involved in diving activities.
- Snorkeling reefs can be found all around the island and those who fancy something more daring can snorkel with sharks at Rocky Bay.
Diving - Refresher
- At Scuba Junction, we realize that many divers wish they could maintain their diving skills. We also realize in today’s fast pace and colder waters, that this is not always possible.
- Therefore we offer a range of scuba reviews, tune ups and shallow water dives for those divers that need to refresh and build their confidence before more adventures diving.
