Welcome to Scuba Junction

Quality and Service ...

with an Eco Friendly Touch

Established in 1993 as one of the first dive schools on Koh Tao, Scuba Junction has steadily build a reputation based on quality and service rather than quantity.

We were the first dive center to limit the amount of divers to

MAXIMUM 4 PEOPLE per guide or instructor, again to maximize safety through closer supervision and at the same time making sure that the only fins you see are those of the fish so you get the best possible diving experience on Koh Tao.

We are still the only dive center on Koh Tao to provide ALL our divers with FREE use of dive SUUNTO computers to plan and execute dives with the highest possible safety margin.

Dive Tables proven their worth since the 50s but dive computers are safer, a lot more accurate and every diver should know how to use one.  Don't worry if you don't, our dive staff will teach you the do's and don'ts of computer diving.

As a result we come highly recommended by reputable organizations ( i-escape and Lonely Planet ).

Marine Conservation

Reef ecology and marine conservation programsWe actively promote Green Fins Thailand (part of UNEP, United Nations

Environment Programme)  and are member of Marine Conservation Koh Tao, this not only includes education on reef ecology and reef friendly dive techniques, but also regular beach and underwater clean ups.

Scuba Junction is one of the sponsors of a big new artificial reef that will be installed on Koh Tao in September 2008.

BioRock is a proven technology with fantastic results and we will keep you posted on the progress on our Blogspot.

This new dive site will make exciting progress as new corals can hatch here very fast, attracting also fish and other marine life to this newly born reef.

Boirock wil also become one of the sites where we can monitor coral health during our Reef Watch Training programs.

Diving Koh Tao

Koh Tao has an impressive variety of marine life around the island and because the reefs start just off shore scuba diving and snorkeling are fantastic and sites easily accessible.

Because of the proximity of the reefs, boat rides to the sites range from only 5 min. to max 35 min. for the furtherst away dive spot.

Because of its underwater topography, very mild currents and tranquil bays, diving around Koh Tao is suitable for beginners, but also for more experienced divers Koh Tao has a lot to offer. Whale sharks, reef sharks, schooling barracudas and lots more. Our photo gallery gives you an idea of what you can find whilst diving one of Koh Tao's dive sites.
